Yan Lei – 1000 Kicks 50 Day Challenge
Shifu Yan Lei invites you to take part in the 1000 Kicks 50 Day Challenge. Challenges can alleviate stress and give us something positive to focus on. Pushing our body harder is a great way to make sure that your body never hits a plateau. This challenge is like a martial art’s marathon.
The sessions start off longer (more than an hour) and as the challenge progresses, the sessions get quicker as your stamina improves. You will train alongside Shifu Yan Lei, starting off with the 5 Fundamental Kicks to warm up then moving onto 1000 fighting kicks a day. You will start off with 150 squats and 150 press ups, building up to 300 in each session. To finish off, you will stretch to cool down.
This is not for beginners. It’s recommended that you’ve done The 40 Day Challenge or one of the Transformation programs.
What you’ll learn in 1000 Kicks 50 Day Challenge
- 8 week training program (£6.00 per class at full price)
- 6 days a week for 6 weeks
- 7 days a week for 2 weeks
- 10 rounds with no recovery time working up to 6 rounds

- A space the size of a yoga mat
- A bamboo brush to aid recovery
